CANCELLATION Severe Weather Warning
for Damaging Surf
for Lord Howe Island.
Issued at 4:53 am EST on Monday 21 August 2017.
A complex low pressure system lies near New Zealand, while a high is situated
over southeast Australia. Seas and swell generated by this pattern are now
DAMAGING SURF is no longer expected, although conditions will remain hazardous
today for coastal activities such as rock fishing, swimming and surfing.
The NSW State Emergency Service advise you:
- Check your property regularly for erosion or inundation by sea water, and if
necessary raise goods and electrical items.
- Stay out of the water and stay well away from surf-exposed areas.

No further warnings will be issued for this event.
